Gymbase

Gymbase is a mobile app we built for gym chains, with three roles: member, trainer and manager. From branch management to workout programmes, from measurement tracking to social interaction, it brings a gym's day-to-day operations into a single app.

What was needed?

At gyms with multiple branches, memberships, entry control, trainer programmes and member tracking are often handled with different tools. Keeping members motivated is a challenge of its own. The goal was to build a system where management can oversee all branches from one place, trainers can follow their clients, and members feel more connected to the gym.

What we built

Manager

• Managing branches, users and roles from one place
• Check-in with a QR code unique to each branch
• Branch-level statistics on the management screen

Trainer

• Writing workout and diet plans for clients
• Tracking body measurements on charts
• Creating group classes

Member

• Calendar and exercise library
• Motivation through badges, challenges and a leaderboard
• Interaction with other members and trainers through a social feed, posts and messaging

Result

A gym app that brings management, trainers and members into the same system and supports member engagement with gamification and social features.
