Mystica brings fortune-telling, astrology and daily reading content together in a single mobile app. After entering their birth details, users see a daily horoscope for their sign, their birth chart and their dominant element, and they can access different content such as tarot, coffee reading, palm reading and face reading from the same app.

What was needed?

What brings users back to a fortune-telling or astrology app every day is a personal, enjoyable experience. The goal was to combine different types of content in one app, make each one comfortable to use in its own section, and build a model that lets the app earn revenue through ads and a premium membership.

What we built

• Personal astrology: Daily horoscope, birth chart and dominant element based on birth details.
• Audio reading: The birth chart reading can also be listened to.
• Tarot: Users pick their own cards; the spread is read as a past, present and future trio.
• Reading sections: Coffee reading, palm reading and face reading each have their own section.
• Love compatibility and dream interpretation are also part of the app.
• Mood journal: Users log their day with emojis, intensity and tags, and can look back at past entries.
• Revenue model: Some analyses unlock by watching an ad or with a premium membership.

Result

A consumer app that combines different types of content into a single experience, aims to bring users back every day and earns revenue through ads and a premium membership.
