Verifyte is an app that finds out whether there is a gap between the mobile data a carrier bills and the usage the phone measures itself. Users upload the PDF statement they get from their carrier; the app compares it with the consumption it has recorded and shows the deviation as a percentage.
What was needed?
Users usually have no tool to verify the data usage on their bills, so the question "did I really use that much data?" goes unanswered. The goal was to build an app that records usage independently on the device, compares it with the carrier statement, and also makes managing plans and quotas easier.
What we built
- Bill comparison: The PDF statement from the carrier is uploaded and compared with the usage measured on the device, with the deviation shown as a percentage.
- Continuous recording: Usage is recorded in the background, with hourly, daily, weekly and monthly breakdowns.
- Wi-Fi vs. mobile data balance and per-app consumption can each be tracked separately.
- 90-day history chart: Usage habits can be seen over time.
- Forecast: How long the current plan will last is calculated from the daily average.
- Assistant: Users can ask questions directly, such as "when will my quota run out?" or "is my plan right for my usage?"
Result
An app that verifies the bill against device data and makes choosing a plan easier, bringing data processing and user experience together. We developed it as a cross-platform app. If you have an idea that involves data processing, document reading or comparison, take a look at our mobile app development and custom software and integration services.
